Shops I Love

Hey Lovelies, your girl here, enjoy one of the last beautiful days of summer before I have to break out the jackets and scarfs. Or, if you don't have any fall clothes, or your old one are looking pretty warn, you might be shopping for some new ones. If you're anything like me, you probably looooovee shopping. Either in person or online, I'm also browsing through also clothes, looking at the new trends, creating shopping lists in my head, or sometimes even buying (okay, a lot of buying). I've often asked where I find my clothes, and the answer is: a little bit of everywhere. I shop online, at the mall, and used to do a good amount of thrift shopping. So I've come up with a list of my favorite shops, and where I buy the bulk of my closet. Let's get started!
LindyBop
OMG I cannot sing LindyBop praises any louder if I try. I'm OBSESSED with this clothing shop after stumbling upon in a couple months ago on Tumblr, I became hooked, buying two dresses and getting one as a birthday gift. LindyBop is an online shop, based in England but ships to the US and elsewhere specializes in vintage dresses, skirts, tops, and now homegoods, has unique patterns and cool designs. I'm the type of who hates when people have similar stuff to me, so the fact that have cool patterns like circus pattern, or Las Vegas is a major plus. Also the price are super nice. The highest thing I've seen that full price was $60, which for vintage style stuff, that isn't bad. There are always sales going on, so the average price is probably $20 range. Also: MOST OF THE DRESSES HAVE POCKETS. And everything is super well made.
Pro Tip: If you like something, add it to your wishlist because they usually have a "end of season" sale where most things become 70% off so that $50 becomes as low as $13 bucks.

OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE Forever21. The one nearest to me is about 30 minutes away so I don't get to go that often, so when I do it's a huge treat. The prices on their basics such as camis, dresses, jeans, and cardigans are cheap and their's always some sale or a unique piece to be found. I often get fantastic dresses for around $5. It's the best!
Pro Tip: Shop on their website first to get an idea for what pieces you might want because how the store is organized it can be a bit overwhelming.
Out Of Print Clothing
Okay, anyone who knows me, know how much I love this shop. I do the majority of my Christmas Shopping there for all my Book-ish friends and I think I own at least one type of everything they sell except their scarf, pouches, pins, and mug (soon though). This shop is great because they let you show your love of literature with t-shirt, pullovers, totes, and much more with having book covers on them, or other lit designs. They are a little pricey but the quality and feel is amazing and they now have coupon codes. Plus, the clothes are an instant conversation starter.  Also, with every purchase, they give a book to a community in need.
Pro Tip:Sign up for their email list of new release and sales (especially around the holidays)

(Side Note: Didn't know how much weight I lost since college. The Slaughterhouse Five shirt was taken this time two years ago, the Great Gatsby was taken two weeks ago.)
Hot Topic
Once upon a time Hot Topic was that scary store in the mall that played screamo music wayyyy too loud, too dark and it was haunted by emo kids. Flash forward to 2017 and it's still the store in the mall that plays screamo music wayyy too loud. too dark and is haunted by former emo kids, but know has cool fandom stuff. Seriously, their Harry Potter selection is amazing. They have merch from such fandoms as Sailor Moon, Disney, Bob's Burgers, Riverdale, DC and Marvel,Star Wars and much more, plus their band merch selection is second to none. They also have vintage inspire dresses. Once you're brave enough to go inside, it's really a fantastic place.
Pro Tip: The best times to buy is during their Black Friday week sale and their Hot Mess sale.

Oh Modcloth, I could online browse on your site all day. Serious, this shop is the best to get idea for outfits because they have a "Outfit Photo" section on their website which shows real people wearing their clothes and gives you suggestion on how to put the outfit together. Brilliant. Modcloth is known as the shop of all things quirky, unique, and delightful clothing. It's very pricy, I'm not going to lie, but the stuff it often super well made and unique that it's worth is (also you can find some things similar on Amazon shhhhh). Also ModCloth promotes woman which is super awesome. So if you wanna kill time and need an outfit for a super important event (job, wedding, big life event) this is the place to go.
Pro Tip: Check their "Sale" often or wait for their roulette style "Styleish Surprise" at the end of each season for great finds at great prices.

  1. All nine of the outfits you styled in these photographs look beautiful!
One of the online shops where I've purchased more than one blouse is Dressbarn. I used to shop some at DHstyles but I think they may be of business. I have purchased a few blouses from Macy's, JCpenney, Sears, Kmart, Nordstrom, Ann Taylor, Forever 21 and more, and the list of retailers I've bought full brief panties from is too way long to include in a comment.
I have also shopped most large department stores.
Out of the nine outfits you styled above, my favourite two outfit pieces are the miniskirt in the 4th photo, and the pretty red dress in the last (9th) photo.
