Trends for July!

Hey fashion friends! So for the long time, no post. I've been super  busy working on my novel and crying over Go Set A Watchman (Don't worry you'll here all about it--Or maybe you should be worried) Anyway here are my trends for July!!

Jumpsuit

I love 70's fashion! I loved That 70's Show and American Hustle mainly because of the fashion, my favorite being jumpsuit which I'm super happy is coming back in style. They're so perfect! It's both a shirt and pants so you don't have to waste all that energy putting them on separately! Jumpsuit are prefect for going out to dinner, running errands or just hanging out with your girls!

Lace shorts

Okay, I'll admit it, I wasn't the hugest fan of lace shorts when I first saw them. The first few I tried on were baggy and the lace wasn't where I quite wanted it. However, I've grown to love this trend! July is shorts weather, no if, ands or buts about it and while denim shorts are great and go along with everything its fun to change it up a little and lace shorts to that. They're cute, unique and come in so many different cute colors.

Flower power

The 70's theme this month comes up again in the floral prints I've seen a lot of this month. They're everywhere, skirts, dresses, tank tops, I even saw a shirt today at Kohls that said "Flower Child" which I would have bought if it had my size. Summer is time for growth and staying outside and taking the time to stop and smell the roses.

Tribal print

Tribal print as grown on me in the last couple of months. From not owning anything to owning a maxi dress and a pair of shorts. Tribal print really emphasizes the feelings of summer: fun, wild and laid back without trying to hard. They make a statement without you having to put a lot of thought into it. Bonus points if you get a jumpsuit with tribal print!

Stay tuned in a couple of days for my review of Go Set a Watchman. To Kill A Mockingbird is my favorite book of all time (second only to the Harry Potter Series) and I'm both excited and terrified by this book.
Stay styling,
Ellen
