Am I Boho yet?

Hey Lovelies! Back again for the third installment  of my Am I....yet? series. Only one more left after these O M to the G! This week I'm going to talk about the Bohemian style of fashion also known as Boho. Boho fashion is very carefree, flowey and fun! Think woodstock or gyspie like fashion!
Some fashion icons for this look are...

Celebrity Nicole Richie

High School Musical Star Vanessa Hudgens

Now that we found our inspirations lets talk colors!
Color Palette

  • Brown
  • Green
  • Turquoise and blue
  • white
Basically you wanna go with Earthy tones, colors that appear in nature.
Clothing Items
Here are some Boho clothing items that are groovy.

  • Peasant tops
  • Maxi dresses/skirts
  • Jumpsuits
  • Flare leg jeans (light wash)
  • Boyfriend Cardigans
  • crop tops
  • Bell sleeve dresses
  • Faded "vintage" tees
Accessiories

  • Head-wraps
  • Gladiator sandels
  • Floppy Brim hats
  • Turquoise jewelry (rings, necklaces, bracelets)
  • Hanging earrings
  •  Necklaces you can layer
  • Bangles (bonus points if they have peace signs on them!)
  • Oversize sunglasses
  • Chunky knit infinity scarves
  • Ankle Boots
Prints

  • Paisley Print
  • Floral
  • Fringe (so much fringe!)
  • Feathers
  • Floral
Hair

  • Wavy hairstyle is very popular with the Boho looks. You want to have a kinda beach-y look which you can achieve with sea salts sprays that you buy or look up the recipe online! Remember you wanna look carefree.
Makeup

  • Again you want to look nature so very little makeup is needed with this look. Nude eyeshadows with lightly tinted lip balm and plenty of bronzer will help you look chill.
WARNING: This style can look really hip or can make you look like a bag lady depending on how you layer thing. With this look less is more. Don't try to wear too baggy stuff or layer too many necklace or other stuff. Try to be natural without looking overloaded.

There now your ready for your next indie concert or walking the beach!
